1st Turn In1. This grading period, I have learned the basics of Spanish. I also learned from the Spanish Culture presentation.
2. I learn from completing worksheets and discussing my mistakes with peers. 3. I am learning to earn credits for graduation, most obviously, but I have also decided to learn Spanish so I can go to Puerto Rico to teach English to little kids. 4. I believe that learning the basics is what builds a strong foundation for learning the entire language. Small steps are good. 2nd Turn In1. This grading period has taught me so much about Spanish and the Spanish culture. I can now order in restaurant, talk about what I did and what I plan on doing, and many more useful skills that I may need in the future.
2. This class has been so easy for me to learn in. The environment and the way you (Mrs. Jorge) teach help me a lot. I love talking in class and all the powerpoint notes. 3. I am learning Spanish to enhance my ability in communications. Communication is the key of success. 4. I feel as if I have successfully completed my first Spanish class and have mastered the basics. I am so excited to move forward in Spanish II. |
May 10, 20131. Through this grading period, I have learned how to use the past tense of verbs in both the preterite and imperfect. New vocabulary has been introduced in the topics of poverty and sexism, as well as the recent vocab on telling stories.
2. I feel that I have learned more through class discussion and studies rather than worksheets and projects. Honestly, I feel like the group work hinders me. 3. I learn to enhance my abilities to communicate with people who I may encounter in the future. Working at BK has opened my eyes to how many Spanish speakers are here, and I feel better about myself knowing that I can communicate with them, even if it were to be a shallow conversation. 4. I still feel as if I'm struggling a little bit with the past tenses, mainly in memorizing the endings and irregulars. |
